Sampling equipment not performing the work due to Fouling is a common problem. Due to this, many are hesitant to use automatic sampling equipment for DS-content measurements.
We have solved this classical problem by using a combination of pressurised air and fresh water for the cleaning cycle and by letting the sampling occur intermittently to avoid constant contact between the Siljan PolySave equipment and the filtrate.
There is also a possibility to easily clean the sensor manually with a brush, included in the delivery. The cleaning operation takes about 5 minutes to perform and we recommend cleaning the sensor once a week, to ensure a reliable operation of the Siljan PolySave.
