Both practical experience and economical calculations show that the installation of a RotoMaster in a waste water treatment plant is a highly profitable investment.
Some examples:
- Before a digester, thickening from 0.5-2% up to 6% DS will yield:
- Reduced energy demand for heating of water in the digester.
- Increased retention time, which most often will yield a higher gas production per ton DS.
- Increased digester capacity, up to a factor of 6.
- Higher DS-content after the digester, which will lower the dewatering cost.
- Probably the most important, a more accurate and secure process control.
- By thickening the sludge up to 6% before transportation to an external digester or up to about 14% before waste disposal yield lowered transportation and waste treatment costs with up to 90%.
- Before a centrifuge, will solve the problems with diluted sludge and will reduce the operation and maintenance costs.
- For the handling of external sludge, with highly varying DS-contents.
